June 25, 2010 A small plane crashed at the St. Charles Airport, no one was hurt in the wreck.
The St. Charles City Fire Department said the plane crashed about 6pm. The air craft, identified as a Cesna, appeared to overshoot the runway while attempting to land. It then rolled across a road and clipped a utility pole before stopping in an open field.
